THIS COUPLE BRAVED THE PANDEMIC WITH A DESTINATION WEDDING IN GREECE THAT IS SHEER ROMANCE & SWEETNESS.
Weddings 2020 will surely go down in history as the most challenge-laden, and dilemma-hampered, but also triumphantly and eventually euphorically experienced nuptials ever. After all, those who did brave the pandemic, and decided to go forwards with their plans were not the kinds of couples who simply settled for less, but a force to be reckoned with, and sheer proof that love and marriage is an institute can't disparage!
Such was the case of Kosmas and Carolina whose Island Art & Taste destination wedding in Athens was planned mid-covid crisis. August is always relatively relaxed compared to the rest of the summer months in Greece, and last year the length of wedding guest lists kept being reduced throughout spring till the end of autumn.
The beautiful duo, however, was adamant, their Orthodox vows would happen even if that meant vowing their love to each other with no guests at all. Thankfully for them, their date happened to be more flexible than the rest allowing for 40 of their closest and dearest to fly to Greece for the lovely occasion. Their invites were sent, the pretty little chapel on the venue's premises and their officiant booked, along with all the other beautiful details.
They wanted to have it all, from the bridesmaids and bride's colorful bouquets, which would stand out from the rest of the botanical elements to a perfectly blush reception scheme, complete with candy displays, cocktail carts, fireworks, and an incredible Greek cuisine menu.
Planning their wedding was a breeze, first and foremost because they completely trusted us and allowed our expertise to guide them, and second because they did want to keep their chins up and enjoy their wedding to the max. Since their guest list was all about their favorite people the cheer doubled, as they had time aplenty to be together and have fun with all of those who attended instead of just greeting and thanking them cordially.
After the wedding, their honeymoon in Greece ensued and we couldn't be happier to see how much a small decision forwards had such a huge impact on how they feel today about it.
